Director
Naomi Weinstock is a seasoned fundraising executive and arts administrator with two decades of experience advancing some of New York’s leading performing arts institutions. She currently serves as Vice President & Chief Development Officer at New York City Center, where she is a member of the senior leadership team and oversees all philanthropic strategy and revenue generation.
At City Center, Naomi leads a team of 13 professionals responsible for securing more than $15 million annually in support for programming, operations, and capital initiatives—representing approximately half of the organization’s total revenue. Under her leadership, City Center has achieved a 20% increase in contributed income since 2019 and secured a record number of donor households, reflecting her commitment to broadening and deepening community investment in the arts. Naomi also partners closely with City Center’s Board of Directors on engagement, stewardship, and recruitment, and has designed and executed major fundraising initiatives in order to launch new programs as well as bolster institutional milestones, anniversaries, and leadership transitions.
Naomi began her career in development at New York City Opera before joining the Metropolitan Opera, where she held progressively senior roles, including Deputy Director of Major Gifts and Director of Individual Giving.
A graduate of the University of Rochester with a degree in music history and a concentration in opera and musical theater, Naomi brings both artistic insight and strategic acumen to her work. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two young sons, and is deeply passionate about supporting artists and ensuring that world-class performances remain accessible to all New Yorkers.
