Anna Lopez is a dancer and choreographer from New York City interested in building a world that is tangible and meaningful to anyone who views her work. She attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts, and is a graduate of the School of Dance at George Mason University. Anna is also an alumnus of the MOVE ⎸NYC⎸ Young Professionals Program co-founded by Nigel Campbell and Chanel DaSilva. During her time in university, she had the opportunity to perform alongside the Graham Company and to perform the works of Robert Battle, Christopher d’Amboise, Alejandro Cerrudo, Kyle Abraham, Susan Shields, Rena Butler, and many more. Anna’s choreography has been shown in numerous dance festivals in New York City and Washington, DC. In 2024, Anna joined the Wolf Trap Opera’s production of Seven Deadly Sins as choreographer and a performer. Currently, Anna is based in Montreal working with RUBBERBAND Dance Group, touring internationally performing the works of Victor Quijada and working with the RUBBERBAND Method.
